ANYTHING and EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

ANYTHING and EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

In his book “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success,” Deepak Chopra writes in detail about “The Law of Pure Potentiality.” I love this Law, and have experienced at moments in my life. Essentially, he is saying that everything is energy, and that we – each of us – is a manifestation and extension of The Great Field – the Field of Potentiality. When we can “implant” an image or a resonance into the field, we have set the creation of that thing in motion. In order to experience it in our own life, we need to maintain that resonance – at least a majority of the time. That doesn’t mean we have to spend all day every day imagining that new car that we want. But once we have set the image in motion, we have to maintain our high frequency of belief and expectation in order for the car to come into our reality. If you see your dream car going down the road – obviously with someone else at the wheel – and you think thoughts like “well, I guess someone else got my car,” or “I’m never going to get my car,” or if you feel jealous or angry, well, you’ve just put the brakes (pun intended) on the manifestation of that car into your life. Please don’t misunderstand me – I’m not suggesting that all you have to do is envision your new BMW and hold the vision and it will appear in your driveway with your name on the registration (although that may happen), but what I AM saying is that when you hold the vision and the resonance of the car, things will begin to happen to bring that car closer to you and you will experience opportunities to get into it, and drive it, and eventually have it. Most of us, though, can’t seem to maintain that frequency long enough to manifest what we say we really want.
Tablet ComputerHere’s something you can try – to get your manifesting muscle in shape: Think of something you want. Something that isn’t too “big” a thing, but is big enough to convince you when you get it. Write it down in detail, as if you already have it. Write about how you feel, how the world looks different, how you act now that you have it. For example “I love my new Samsung Tablet. The screen resolution is amazing! I have found even more uses for it than I originally thought. It is easy to use. I love how lightweight it is. I take it on business trips, and I don’t need to carry my laptop. I really appreciate this technology – it makes it easier for me to do business and to keep in touch with my friends and family.” Or something along those lines. Then stash piece of paper away.

CalendarOver the next 30 days, notice with appreciation every time you see anything that is your “want,” or the essence of it. Even if you see someone else carrying the Tablet you desire. Go to the store and try it out. Do you have money to buy it? If not, notice how things line up so that money is coming in. The key is to not give up hope or desire for the thing you want (unless you discover that you really don’t want it anymore!). At the end of 30 days, notice if you’ve “received” the thing you wrote down, or if you’re closer to having it. If not, reflect back on how your energy has been about the thing you want. Has it gone up and down? Did you forget about the thing for most of the month? Is there something greater that you want?

Practice this daily – several times a day. Watch as you become a great manifestor!

Are You Living Your Life Purpose?

Are You Living Your Life Purpose?

That’s a question I hear often these days. Most of my clients are questioning why they do what they do, and wondering if they are being called to do something more, something greater.

Grass-is-greenerMost people over 40, and many who are younger, haven’t been encouraged to “Follow Their Bliss,” or even consider finding their true purpose. But our purpose is written on our soul and our heart. It calls out to us throughout our lives. In this time in Human History, many people are discovering that they can no longer ignore the calling.

For me, this calling has been calling me my whole life. I didn’t understand what that feeling was – until I began to answer it. For so many years I chased after the kind of material success that I was programmed to strive for. But attaining it rarely made me feel satisfied. That’s not because of the material things – it’s because I wasn’t satisfied to begin with. By that I mean I wasn’t satisfied with myself – I didn’t “love and accept myself.”

Then I discovered EFT/Tapping, and I knew there was something greater calling me.

Even now I sometimes question my own calling. But not for long. All I have to do is work with someone and have them tell me about some way in which their life was changed for the better because of Tapping. And then I know I’m on the right course – living my purpose. Or I can talk to someone about Revitalize Oregon, and see them light up. And then I feel the sense of knowing that I’m answering my calling.

It can’t always be summarized in a statement, but most people sense whether or not they’re “on purpose.” What’s YOUR Life’s Purpose? Are you living it? Please post your comments!

What’s Bugging You?

What’s Bugging You?

gandi quoteI found myself irritated at a friend recently, and couldn’t quite figure out where my irritation arose from. Here’s the process I used to get to the bottom of my irritation and clear it. This may help you too, when you find yourself irritated and you don’t really know the root cause.

At first I found myself wanting to blame the other person – I had a mental conversation about what had happened, and I was doing some “Well, you did this…” kind of thinking. But, like I’m always saying, “When I blame someone else, it makes ME a victim!” And I don’t want to be a victim. So I searched deeper. And deeper still. What I finally discovered is that I had said “yes” to something when I really wanted to say “no”. And out of this, a whole series of events spiraled, leading me to feel irritated and frustrated.

Here’s a Tapping routine to use when you’ve given away your power by saying “yes,” when you really wanted to say “no.” (Or vice-versa).

Tapping on the Karate Chop Point:
ET (Even Though) I said yes when I wanted to say no, ID&CL&AM (I Deeply & Completely Love & Accept Myself)
ET I really wish I’d stood my ground and said NO!, but I gave in and said Yes, ID&CL&AM
ET I feel like I gave my power away, and I want it back and it feels like it’s too late, ID&CL&AM

Then Tapping through the points, beginning at the Top of the Head, and Tapping one point for each phrase:
-I said “yes”
-When I wanted to say “No!”
-I’m frustrated with myself
-I thought I was stronger
-But I didn’t stand my ground
-I wanted to be “nice”
-I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings
-But I ended up hurting myself

-I’ve been beating myself up
-And that hurts me even more
-I feel like I should know better than to say “yes” when I want to say “no”
-I choose to stop beating myself up
-I choose to forgive myself for saying “yes” when I wanted to say “No!”
-I choose to learn from this
-I choose to grow from this
-I choose to stand strong in my own power

-Saying “No” when I mean no
-& saying “Yes” when I mean yes
-Are the basic ways I take care of myself
-I forgot this time to take care of ME
-I was trying to please someone else
-I didn’t want to make them feel bad
-And I ended up feeling bad
-But I’m releasing this now, and choosing to learn

Now take a deep breath in and out.

Next time you feel irritated or angry, ask yourself what the root of the irritation really is. Go deep. If you’re irritated, it’s your problem. And usually when we’re irritated about something someone did or didn’t do, it’s because we have an old hurt that we haven’t cleared up. This Tapping routine will help get you started on clearing that hurt, using “Borrowed Benefits.” That means that even if the words in this routine don’t match your words or your “story,” you can tap along, and your subconscious mind will know what to do with the words!

Your Personal GPS Settings May Be Off Course! It’s time for a Software Update!

Your Personal GPS Settings May Be Off Course! It’s time for a Software Update!

So you know how your GPS in your car keeps you on track? You put in your destination and it takes you from your current location to wherever you want to go. If you make a wrong turn, your GPS recalculates your route and gets you back on track. On my GPS, a woman’s voice says “Recalculating.” She never gets an irritated tone. She never says “I told you to go the other way!” She never says “I feel like you’re ignoring me.” She just continually updates, and gets me back on course, eventually getting me to my destination.Map-Internal GPS-Tapping-EFT-Emotional Freedom-Subconscious Mind

My own internal GPS (aka my Sub Conscious Mind), however, isn’t quite so persistent. In fact, unless I go in and reprogram it, my own internal GPS will stop me dead in my tracks. The woman’s voice in my head says things like “Don’t go that way! You might actually get where you say you want to go, and then what?” Or she says “You don’t know enough to do that – you don’t know where you’re going!” Or she distracts me with things like food that is calling me to eat it. Or a movie that needs to be watched. Or a new seminar I need to take. Or a plethora of other distractions. For many, many years, my internal GPS (my Sub Conscious Mind (SCM)) had me way off course. Even though I often told it where I wanted to go, it had outdated operating software, and it kept me from reaching my desired destinations.

The software of our internal GPS (our Sub Conscious Mind) come from messages we’ve gotten since we were very young, or even before we were born. These messages may be personal, or familial, or cultural, or societal. We take them on as our truth, and they become our thoughts and beliefs. And until recently, we didn’t have the technology to easily change our software. Our GPS kept us protected from change, and kept us small and safe. That was important to the survival of the human species for thousands and thousands of years.

Here we are in the 21st Century. If you’re reading this, you don’t have to worry about survival. Food is abundant. It’s not likely you’ll be attacked. It’s time to THRIVE! We live in the most amazing time EVER in human history. We have time and resources and tools for the inner change work that’s required to move us forward in leaps and bounds. You know something is calling you. You want to answer your calling. You want to have a big impact on the world. And yet you find yourself feeling bewildered at your own seeming inability to do what you say you want to do!

It’s not your fault! it’s no one’s fault. It’s your software – it’s out of date. And now we have tapping to help us upgrade our software and help us overcome our own limiting thoughts and beliefs that hold us back. I urge you to learn as much as you can about tapping. Use it every day – especially when you don’t WANT to! Your GPS will tell you NOT to tap – because if you do, your resistance will be reduced or eliminated and change is going to happen much more easily. And until you get really used to this new rapid change, your mind is still going to want you to hold off. You know you want it! Keep tapping!

Tap Away the Emotional Responses

Tap Away the Emotional Responses

I’ve been thinking a LOT about How to Retrain Your Brain for Success! Not just because that’s the name of my upcoming workshop, but because of the amazing implications of clearing our limiting beliefs. We ALL have lots of limiting beliefs, and as we clear some of them, new ones come to the forefront. So what’s Tapping got to do with it all?

At its essence, Tapping eliminates stress. And at the root of limiting beliefs is stress. OK, that’s an oversimplification, but it gets at the essence of this work. Let me give you an example of the root of a limiting belief, and why we would hold on to it. Most people I work with tell me they have limiting beliefs such as “I’m not [good, smart, pretty] enough,” or “It’s not safe to be myself.” There are many more, but these are big ones. Beliefs like one of these are usually “learned” at an early age – by 5 or 6 years old. Sometimes someone actually TOLD us these things, and we believed them, or they IMPLIED it and we believed it. Usually this someone was a parent, teacher, sibling, grandparent. But not always. And there was emotion along with the learning of this “belief.” Like shame or humiliation or fear. Remember, this is a very young child’s mind doing all this learning, believing and feeling. There’s no logic to it.

So now this person’s brain is trained to be wary of anything that feels like that experience, or looks like that experience, or sounds like that experience, or even smells or tastes like that experience. And each time that happens, that person goes into “fight or flight” response, and often repeats the behavior that created the negative belief in the first place, reinforcing it more.

Fast forward 25 years, or 40 years or 70 years. This person has never done anything to overcome this limiting belief, and so still carries it around. Every time something new or exciting or wonderful is about to happen, the brain says “don’t forget, you’re not good enough,” or “don’t be yourself – people won’t like you.” It’s not always this obvious, but the person goes into fight or flight AGAIN, and sabotages themself.self hug

Until Tapping! Now we can tap away the emotional responses, and clear out these limiting beliefs that weren’t true in the first place. AND we can forgive ourselves for holding on to these beliefs for so long. And as we begin to clear them, amazing things start happening. Events and situations seem to line up for us. Opportunities seem to come out of nowhere. We feel inspired. Our esteem goes way up. Life just gets better and better.

So join us, won’t you, for this 4-hour workshop on Thursday, June 19? It’s only $147, AND you’ll receive a recording of the event, so you can tap-along over and over.
