An important aspect of manifesting is matching your energy vibration with what you want to attract into your life. Most people have a difficult time believing the idea that “whatever is going on in your life is a reflection of your thoughts, emotions and beliefs.” And you need to know that the Law of Attraction either works, or it doesn’t. There is no part-time Law of Attraction. But our unconscious mind is running the show most of the time, and there are a LOT of negative thoughts, emotions and beliefs residing in that part of our mind.
A powerful way to begin aligning your desires is to cut out a chunk of negativity. So I ask you to consider these areas as “gold mines” of negative emotions: Complaining, envy, jealousy, back-stabbing, and being judgmental. Often these are one big jumbled ball, and come out like this: “Did you see how she sucked up to the boss? I can’t believe her! And she’ll probably get the promotion, too! I could never be like that!” Or seemingly innocent complaining like, “Ah, this rain! I don’t think I can stand another day of it! And it just creates horrible traffic jams – people just don’t know how to drive in this kind of weather!”

There is a ton of energy in this type of talk, behavior and thinking. And it’s all negative. Even if you feel justified, I invite you to take a 30-day retreat from complaining. Don’t complain about anything! Not even in your thoughts. And even if you’re tempted to join in with someone else who is complaining, don’t do it. Just shift your mind to something positive. You’re gonna be surprised at how often you actually complain! If, after 30 days of not complaining you want to go back to your old behavior, be my guest. But I bet you’ll notice such an amazing difference in your life, that you won’t want to.
And if you find it difficult to not complain, use this simple tapping script when the urge comes up (it’s like fending off a craving!):
(Karate Chop Point):
ET (even thought) I want to complain, ID&CLAAM (I deeply and completely love and accept myself)
ET I feel justified in saying something negative, I’m trying to be positive, and ID&CL&AM
ET I can hardly stop myself, ID&CL&AM
(through the points):
-I want to complain!
-everyone else is complaining!
-I’m right to complain!
-But I’m trying to be more positive, and complaining is negative!
-I know it, but I want to complain anyway!
-I’m choosing not to complain just this once
-Even if everyone else is doing it
-I’m releasing this urge to complain
Then take a deep breath. Repeat if necessary, as many times as necessary throughout the day.
