UnsafeOften when I’m working with people, they resist making changes that they say they want to make. When we dig a little further, we usually discover an unconscious “I’m not safe.” It often doesn’t make logical sense, but with Tapping, we’re usually working with the illogical part of the mind. If you find yourself saying you want to do something, but feeling stuck, try this tapping script a few times, and see if anything gets “unstuck.”
Tapping Script for When You’re Feeling “Not Safe”

Use this script when you feel that it’s not safe…to express yourself, to BE yourself, to be touched, to be alone, to be loved, to love, or any other “not safe” feeling you might be having. As always, get an intensity reading before and after, and make a note of anything that comes up for you while you’re tapping! Contact me if you have any questions.

Focus on whatever feels “Not Safe”. Then use the script:
Karate Chop Point:
ET (Even Though) I don’t feel safe, ID&CL&AM (I Deeply & Completely Love & Accept Myself), and I honor my feelings about this
ET I’ve had past experiences that tell me it isn’t safe ID&CL&AM, and I choose to know I’m safe right here, right now
ET My mind is attached to these old feelings of “Not Safe,” ID&CL&AM, and I’m open to the possibility that I really AM safe!
(Tapping through the Points)
-It’s not safe for me to speak my mind
-My thoughts and opinions aren’t valid
-I’m not worthy
-It’s not safe for me to say no
-It’s not safe for me to say yes
-It’s not safe for me to love – openly and freely, and in a healthy way
-It’s not safe for me to set clear boundaries
-It’s not safe for me to be alone
-it’s not safe for me to attract love
-I wonder why I believe those things
-It doesn’t make much sense to me now
-They must be really old beliefs – given to me when I was too young to know better
-But I’ve outgrown those beliefs
-They don’t suit me anymore
-I choose to dissolve these old, limiting beliefs
-And replace them with fresh new ideas
-Like: I AM safe to speak my mind
-My thoughts and opinions ARE valid
-I AM worthy. Totally worthy.
-I like the feeling of saying yes when I mean yes
-And no when I mean no
-It IS safe to love – openly, freely, and in a healthy way
-I’m gonna take these new ideas out for a spin
-Try them on for size
-And use them to create my own beliefs
-I can think for myself
-And beliefs are just thoughts that have been repeated over and over again
-I’m feeling some freedom here
-And that feels really good.
