This past weekend I attended the first ever Love Summit, held at Wieden + Kennedy agency here in Portland. “WHAT is a Love Summit?” you might be wondering. I wasn’t sure myself, but the lineup of business speakers was intriguing, and the name of the event grabbed me.
Love and Business – two things I’m very excited about. In my current work as an EFT/Tapping Practitioner/ Personal Transformation Specialist, it is not uncommon for me to help my clients with love, or to speak about love, or write about it. But 30 years ago, when I was a corporate executive manager, I had to keep my business love “under the radar.” I’m so excited that the paradigm of business is truly changing. So much so, that a Love Summit can take place.![]()
You all have been a part of the changing face of business. I’m delighted to say that “Love is going mainstream!” The theme of the Love Summit was “Loving is Good Business.”
Do you love your work/practice? Do you love your products? Do you love your co-workers? Do you love your company/employer? Do you love your clients/customers? If not, get ready for some big changes!
Imagine a company or a corporation whose bottom line reflects not only financial profit and loss, but happiness and joy, net impact on the planet, and legacy. Wouldn’t you love to work for a company like this? Don’t you want YOUR company to be like this? Are you in integrity with your work/practice/business? Do you feel in harmony with your co-workers? You CAN make changes toward these outcomes. And don’t be surprised if Tapping becomes a common tool for change!
Here’s a link to a video about this type of business. This young man – Dan Price, of Gravity Payments – was one of the presenters at the Summit. He is an inspiring young man!
